Active Ingredients: Clopidol and Methyl Benzoquate
Specification:
-Appearance: White or off-white granular, odorless
- Clopidol content: 12.5%
- Methyl Benzoquate content: 1.67%
Pharmacology:
1. Clopidol: Acts on the first day of the coccidia life cycle (sporozoite stage), inhibiting the development of the first-generation schizonts and reducing oocyst shedding; most effective against Eimeria tenella.
2. Methyl Benzoquate: Interferes with DNA synthesis during the early asexual reproduction stage of coccidia. Highly effective against 8 species of Eimeria, especially superior to clopidol alone against Eimeria necatrix, Eimeria maxima, and Eimeria acervulina.
3. Combination: A ratio of 7.485:100 (Methyl Benzoquate to Clopidol) produces a synergistic effect. The dosage of clopidol can be reduced to 1/4 of the original amount while maintaining high efficacy and significantly delaying drug resistance.
Indications:
For the prevention of coccidiosis in poultry (broilers, replacement pullets, breeding chickens, turkeys, quails), suitable for infections caused by sensitive and mildly resistant strains.
Usage& Dosage:
mixed feeding:
- Prevention: Add 500–650 g of this product per ton of feed.
- Severe: Add 750 g of this product per ton of feed.
Adverse Reactions:
No obvious adverse reactions at recommended doses. Overdosing (>2×) or long-term use (>14 days) may cause slight growth inhibition and soft feces, which recover after withdrawal.
Precautions:
1. Do not use in laying hens during egg production; withdrawal period for broilers is 5 days.
2. Do not mix with nicarbazin, sulfaquinoxaline, or amprolium to avoid antagonism.
3. Must be diluted stepwise (10-fold dilution method) to ensure uniformity (CV ≤5%).
4. Contraindicated in animals allergic to quinoline or pyridine drugs.
5. Operators should wear masks and gloves to avoid inhaling dust.
6. Store in a cool, dry place (≤25°C), sealed; use within 1 month after opening.
Withdrawal Period:
- Broilers: 5 days.
- Laying hens: Not allowed during egg production.
- Breeding chickens: Eggs must not be set for hatching within 3 days after withdrawal.
Packaging: 25 kg / bag
Storage: Store in a cool and dry place, in sealed or closed container.
